We’ve got a big one for you today!!
With just one week left in the campaign, we’re thrilled to reveal the painted wraparound artwork for the Collector’s Cabinet Case by Esad Ribić!!!
This new piece brings us to Fire Island — one of the striking new lands explored in ULTIMATE OZ UNIVERSE: INTO THE OUTERLANDS, and the place where our heroes encounter Prince John Forge.
One of the things we’re most excited about with these Cabinet Case editions is the chance to showcase the wider world of OZ, land by land, volume by volume. Volume 1 opened the door with a stunning, painted Emerald City (also painted by Esad Ribić). Volume 2 carries us somewhere new, more dangerous, and full of mystery — and we couldn’t be happier to share this next corner of OZ with you through Esad’s incredible work.
If you just found us and want to start at the beginning, we’ve made that possible in two different ways:
First, we brought back the Volume 1 Slipcase Edition — a special reprint of the deluxe collector format from our original Kickstarter, now available again in limited quantities for new backers who want to collect both volumes together.
Second, we’ve added the regular-size softcover edition of Ultimate OZ Universe, Vol. 1: The Lost Lands as a special discounted add-on, so you can pick up (or gift) the beginning of the journey at a great price only through this campaign.

As Larry King, co-writer of the Ultimate OZ Universe and songwriter, recalls "it came to me in a dream — I dreamt the entire song, woke up, and wrote it in 10 minutes!"
Readers of Volume 1 fell in love with FLAME ON, the music video featured during the epic battle towards the end of the story, so we can make this happen again in Volume 2!

At this next goal, we will launch a brand-new OZ Historian Online Event for everyone — this will be an online 2-episode series available for FREE for all backers.

Now that we've reached 500 campaign prelaunch followers — we're ready to reveal some of the Ozian characters we’ll be traveling with in VOLUME 2!
Here's a brand-new batch of character designs by Mike Deodato, giving you your first real look at the faces (and threats) waiting in the Outerlands:
Dorothy — back in OZ, older, tougher, and pulled into danger far from Emerald City | Billina — Dorothy’s sharp, fearless hen companion | Tik-Tok — the legendary clockwork man | Hatch — a Wheeler from the Ev side of the world.
The Shaggy Man — a mysterious wanderer | Princess Langwidere — the merciless ruler of Castle Ev | Omby Amby — a loyal figure of the Emerald City.
